It is organized by the ALPI+MILANO APS (Social Promotion Association) in collaboration with the Lombardy Region. In addition to a festival of mountain 'shorts' selected by the CAI Film Library, it includes the "Manlio Armellini" Award, dedicated to original works by university students, beginning with those from the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano and from the Politecnico di Torino, guest of this edition. Named in memory of the patron of the Salone del Mobile of Milan, a great mountain enthusiast, it aims to stimulate the creativity and awareness of young people on the issues of the Highlands.
